The artist, having lived in San Francisco, has taken the Haight-Ashbury "Free Clinic" and turned it into a Free Clinic for animals.
Here we see his donkey (Nugoro), his Barbados Sheep "Mr. Teeth", Mr. Moto (black cat), Alberta (calico cat), and
Chilindrina (black chihuahua) and the giraffe from the artist's memories of living in Africa. The colours have been carefully
selected to reflect the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco, a place where the artist has spent a great deal of time
over the last 60 years. Since the artist also has an Animal Rescue Centre at his studio in Northern California, it is no surprise
that he dreams of a Free Vet Clinic for his many animals.
Painting was done in collaboration with Anastasia Nelson and is signed "Nelson Dynan".
